An Incomplete List of Things You Can Do in Under Two Minutes:
- boil a cup of water in the microwave
- trim your fingernails
- water a plant
- prematurely ejaculate
- floss your teeth
- shotgun a can of PBR
- send a Tweet that could potentially undermine the security of the free world
- feed your cat
Or you could put that time to much better use and listen to “I Used to Be Intelligent,” the track we’re hella stoked premiering today from crusty Belgian grinders Marginal. The song comes from Total Destruction, the group’s third full-length since 2014, and it’s a perfect encapsulation of their sound: part Discharge, part Extreme Noise Terror, and 100% pants-shitting fury.
But you don’t want to read a bunch of words about how raw and ragey this song is. You just want to jam the fucker - so go ahead and hit play on “I Used to Be Intelligent” below. And try not to hurt yourself thrashing around your cubicle when that d-beat kicks in on the verse…
Total Destruction will be available on December 15. You can pre-order it digitally from Marginal’s Bandcamp page, on CD (including a nifty UV-laminated black box set) via Transcending Obscurity Records, and on LP from Babylon Doom Cult Records.
